God stepped in and saved the children of Abraham because He had made a promise that Abraham would be the father to many.
As the army pursued the Israelites, they found themself trapped between a mighty army and the sea. But there is no trap that can withhold the power of God. The Israelites stood in awe as the Lord rendered the Egyptian Army powerless in a single strike.
The only response is to praise the Lord. Moses and Miriam sang a song of praise about the Lord after he rescued them from the armies of Egypt on the banks of the Red Sea.
The Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary, a young woman, a virgin, and told her that she would give birth to a powerful and holy child. Gabriel declared that Mary would be overshadowed by the presence of God. The Spirit of Holiness will fall upon you and almighty God will spread his shadow of power over you in a cloud of glory! This is why the child born to you will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God (Luke 1:35 The Passion Translation).
Now Mary had a song of praise too!
The Mighty One has worked a mighty miracle for me; holy is his name! Mercy kisses all who fear him, from one generation to the next. Mighty power flows from him to scatter all those who walk in pride
